Hello! I am Swarali. Welcome to my homepage.

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at West Virginia University. My current research focuses on the propagation astrophysics of pulsars and Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs). Specifically, I utilize them as probes to map the fine-scale structure of the interstellar medium (ISM) and to constrain the parameters of binary pulsar systems. I use radio telescopes, such as the Green Bank Telescope and the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME) .

Find my latest publication on finding an FRB ‘blind spot’ in our galaxy and how we’re using it to probe the warm ionized medium .

Previously, I have worked in the fields of cosmology and star formation.

Along with astrophysics and research, music is an integral part of my life.

Thank you for stopping by!
